Last Weekend

Jumpsuit: Tobi  |  Trench Coat: Tobi  |  Backpack: Tobi  |  Shoes: Thrifted  |  Sunglasses: Eye Buy Direct

Hey Guys, Happy Monday!

I spent last Saturday window shopping, café hopping and getting some fresh air (also working at said café). It was such a beautiful day and I decided to walk instead of drive. My TOBI backpack did an amazing job at carrying all of my necessities while remaining light and comfortable. I even had my MacBook with me and it did great!

Since I know you guys love “what’s in my bag” posts, I decided to show you some of my favorite items that I always carry with me.

I usually have at least one book with me, sunglasses, concealer, travel size perfume (or a sample I’m into) and right now I’ve been carrying my Glossier Cloud Paint around with me because I just got it and I’m obsessed!

I picked up some beautiful tulips on the way home and couldn’t help snapping some photos of how pretty they looked in my Tobi bag. Even when June decided that she wanted to sabotage my process. :)

Hope you have an excellent week friends!

Hello! I hope the week is treating you well so far! It’s only Tuesday but and I’m already exhausted. Only 3 weeks left in this semester so that means a lot of finishing up and starting of new projects. It’s so hard to find time to work on personal projects when you have a day job + go to University. Hoping there will be a calm soon, even if the next storm is around the corner.

Here are a few items I’ve had my eyes on for a while, plus a few I just found recently.

boots | bag | watch | lip balm+serum | necklace | lamp | pouch | glasses | blouse

It has been a very long week. It’s Seafair weekend here in Seattle which usually excites the crap out of me but I was so tired today I felt like I might not join in on the fun this year. I have seen some pretty tempting photos floating around the internet though, we’ll see I guess :)

Today I’ve gathered some of my favorite finds from this week. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did. Please follow the link to Zack Seckler’s photography. The aerial photos are my favorite, absolutely stunning and unreal!!

+ This Lily Stan Studio look book is gorgeous! And the greyhounds… I want all the greyhounds!!

+ This Stockholm interior is to die for. Can I have spiral stairs in this lifetime please?

+ Zack Seckler’s aerial photography is unlike anything I’ve seen.

+ I’m always inspired by Breanna Rose. I enjoyed this post about kicking excuses to the curb.

+ Pretty gilded box diy on Cocorrina’s blog.

Happy Friday!!

In my last post, I briefly mentioned the Capsule Wardrobe that I found via Unfancy. I’ve never been an expert with my wardrobe but if there is one thing I do know, it’s that I like it minimal and comfortable with that effortlessly well-styled look. When I read about the capsule wardrobe, somehow everything made more sense to me. I think my favorite part is that it was a good way to start from scratch and really build a wardrobe I love without getting overwhelmed or going broke in the process. Caroline outlines how to build a capsule wardrobe and really puts the entire thing into perspective. Granted it will take some time and effort but at least I know where to start and have a pretty solid idea of where I want to end up.

I decided to start with shoes (mainly summer shoes) because the capsule wardrobe is built around the seasons. Here is a small portion of some of the styles I’m into. I will only be purchasing a few pairs but I really want to be sure I make the right choices so I’m searching far and wide! If you haven’t noticed, I like black and white with a few neutrals mixed in (grays, creams, etc) just to change it up a bit. I also want to be able to mix and match all of my wardrobe items to make as many different outfits as I can. If I stick to this color palette, I think I will be able to do that pretty easily.

You can read everything there is to know about the capsule wardrobe on Caroline’s Blog Unfancy.

I hope you all have a relaxing weekend! I’ll be at the beach (I hope)!!

♥ heather
